- 1 60 Stitch Sock Blank
Barrier Reefs are such a beautiful, vibrant ecosystem within our oceans’ waters. I tried to capture that here with the blue of the water, purple of the bright coral and even brighter fish and browns of the ocean floor. Acting as an important barrier against tidal waves and tropical storms, the bleaching and decimation of these beautiful coral reefs is devastating not only to marine animals but also human life.
The SeaLife collection will be a forever collection that I’ll add to and change as my heart desires. If you see something you love, please buy it. I am not guaranteeing that a specific colorway will be around forever.
$2 from every skein sold from this collection will be donated on a QUARTERLY basis to an organization or foundation that helps to support our oceans and clean them up. The first quarter’s donations will be going to the Coral Restoration Foundation based in Key Largo, Florida that works to reintroduce staghorn and elkhorn corals to the Florida Reef Tract.
In an effort to raise as many funds as possible for each organization each quarter, I thought I would not allow any discounts codes to be used. After a lot of thought, I’ve decided to allow the sweater quantity discounts to be used if a person would like to purchase some yarn and support a great cause but may be is a little tight on funds. Therefore, you can see the sweater quantity discounts offered below and their corresponding codes.
I now offer a sweater quantity discount. Please see the chart below for the codes and corresponding discount.
|sweater10||10% off 4-6 skeins|
|sweater15||15% off 7+ skeins|
Leave me a comment in the checkout notes and I’ll be more than happy to cake any skein up for you.
*All skeins are washed until the water runs clear in an effort to prevent color bleeding. As with all hand dyed items, it is recommended that you wash separately the first few washes. It is also highly recommended you alternate skeins, especially in larger projects. I dye in small quantities so there may be small differences in colors.*
