Made from just 3 dye stocks - the primary colors - these dyes blend and meld with each other, combining to give us a unique array of colors across the skeins.

No batch, no tray, no skein is ever the same but that’s part of the allure. You’ll be eager to work the next stitch to see the next color.

The Tarantula Nebula is home to some fairly young stars. Its official name is Stellar nursery 30 Doradus but gets its nickname from the long, dust filled projections out from its center. Located in the Large Magellanic Cloud galaxy, this relatively close nebula is home to the faster, largest, hottest star-forming region allowing us to study star formation like what our own galaxy experienced billions of years ago.

My interpretation chose to focus on the composition image of what the Webb Telescope as well as the Chandra X-Ray was able to observe. Swaths of terracotta, purple, blue, charcoal and the multitude of other shades that come combining those.

A low contrast variegate that works up so so nicely. Softly blue with hints of gray and purple. I just adore this color.

Located in the Cassiopeia Consellation, the remnants of a supernova, Cassiopeia A is the youngest known remnant of an exploded star within our galaxy. The outer ring of light is exploded matter and material from the star colliding with gases and dust. Inner bright pink filaments surround an inner loop of green that has scientists stumped.

Additionally, I recommend washing handmade items with a mild detergent and laying flat to dry. Superwash items can possibly be machine washing on gentle cycle but I can not be held responsible for any mishaps. Non-Superwash items should DEFINITELY be hand washed.
